FAQ

An eTA is an entry requirement for visa-exempt foreign nationals traveling to Canada by air. It allows short-term visits for tourism, business, or transit. It is electronically linked to your passport and usually valid for up to five years or until the passport expires.

A Visitor Visa (also called a Temporary Resident Visa, TRV) is required for foreign nationals who are not eligible for an eTA and wish to visit Canada temporarily for tourism, family visits, or business purposes.
